Back to the City to work today, this time by car. On the way home, I realize that I have been blogging for well over two months. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. You–if you’ve been reading for a while–know quite a bit about me, my life and my sensibilities. As far as I can tell, you’ve deduced at least this much:
• My 83 year old father has Buddha-nature, my mother died 16 years ago and I have one brother who lives with his family in Connecticut.
• I have 2 daughters: Sara, who got married in Big Sur last fall and lives in L.A. and Grace who lives in N.Y.C. and hopes my Dad will walk her down the aisle someday.
• I have 3 stepsons: Erick, Brett and Bryan.
• I am a grandmother.
• I’ve been married twice–my husband has beautiful hands, is the love of my life and his sister, Darlene, is dying.
• I live in the Hudson Valley
• I love to read; I collect and am informed by poems, nuggets of wisdom, useful instructions.
• I spend as much time as I can on my yoga mat and meditation cushion.
• I have some obsessions.
• I lean toward Buddhist teachings for spiritual sustenance and astrology for entertainment.
• I don’t work at a 9 – 5 job.
• I sometimes work in Manhattan.
• I love to take photographs.
• I lived in New Mexico once.
• I care about the future of the planet.
• I love plants, flowers, gardening and the woods.
• I have wonderful women friends in my life.
• I’m fascinated by impermanence and chaos.
• Family is what gives my life meaning. Being a Mom is the best thing that ever happened to me.
• I love to write and do writing practice.
• I have a B.A. in English…I left out the M.A. in Psychology.
It has been delight, an honor and a joy to follow you the past two months… I so look forward to al that comes next!

Thanks for filling in the blanks. The Jungian Society’s office is next door and I just recently attended a wonderful writing seminar led by Susan Tiberghien. For some reason she made me think of your writing on this blog. I am better for having read it.

You forgot to add that you are a gifted family therapist, and for that, we are so grateful. Sometimes, your sharing is so intense, it cannot all be absorbed in one sitting or reading.
You are truly a gift, and I too, cannot wait to see what comes next!!
